Why ‘Pleachify’
As a nation, we Indians are extremely fortunate to have rich heritage spaces which display an intricate fusion of aesthetics and skill sets through their art and architecture. They illustrate very high standards of creativity and intelligence of our ancestors. Our unique legacy not only helps us understand our past, but also becomes crucial in building the competencies that are required for the 21st century & beyond.
On our platform PLEACH, we seek to entwine our heritage with our lives primarily at two levels. Establishing a deep connection to the present in terms of our heritage’s relevance and the value it adds to our lives. The second one is weaving the rich heritage sites of India with the historical aspects that enabled them. Focusing on an interdisciplinary approach PLEACH stands by its acronym – ‘Preserve, Learn, Educate, Art, Culture, Heritage’.
Our contemporary arts, crafts, and visual forms of creativity define our present, they are a continuation and an evolution of the rich legacy that we have inherited over time immemorial. They are precious and need to be preserved and cherished by all generations. They form the core strength that defines our confidence and keeps us rooted in this day and age of AI & ML.
